ENRIQUE GRAN, four corners to discover a genius
A multidisciplinary event that brings us closer to the legacy of this genius of abstraction through four corners: from his most intimate and personal work to his most media-friendly, such as ‘El sueño del Titanic’ (The Dream of the Titanic), through an assessment of his significance in Spanish painting through the eyes of other artists such as Italian photographer Diego Artioli with his interpretation of Gran’s female work, with the analysis of his work by some of the leading figures in 20th-century art and culture in Spain as the common thread.
With a marked educational interest, and following its presentation in 2024 in Madrid within the Matadero complex, it arrives at the Central Library of Cantabria, thanks to the collaboration between the Government of Cantabria through its Directorate General of Culture and the Enrique Gran Foundation.
